Description: This is the cover -- or probably the first page in my Faithbook. I've done lost of pages, but have printed very few of them. Last night the Lord laid this on my heart to start an actual book with. I'll make it an 8x8 book with page protectors so I can add to it as I'm led to create pages that are a reflection of my faith. I chose to use the background paper from the Evergreen Collection because it has the feel of water; then I boldly placed the "Reflections" and made a reflection of the word appear to be in the water. Next I tried to make "of my faith" look like it was floating on the water. And I put a transparent white space behind my short journaling so it would stand out, but not cover the background completely.

Description: For this LO I used the Evergreen Kit from the FY store. You may wonder where the background paper is -- I used 2 different bg papers & applied a mask to the upper one to reveal part of the lower one. I felt the background of the lower paper was a little distracting to my photos (which also have a mask applied to give the little cut-out effect) so I combined the two in a non-destructive manner. One of the joys of doing digital scrapping is being able to use your supplies over & over -- also being able to apply the masks is great because you can combine things in a manner which would be difficult with paper scrapping. I did use the brad from the No Fear kit. Hope you are all enjoying what I'm showing here & if anyone has a question about how to do some of these things let me know & I'll be glad to help any way that I can. Ann

Description: I used the "No Fear" kit available in the store here. As a new member of the design team I'm so excited, yet there is a little fear too. I'm trusting God to guide me in this venture & He's been showing me in so many ways how this was what He had in mind for me. I have been involved in lots of digital scrapbooking websites but have always felt there was just something missing. Together God & I will work to inspire everyone here as we go down this pathway together.

Description: Sigh...my bumpy embellishments didn't scan well. I recently took the class Scrapbooking Your Faith by Courtney Walsh at Big Picture Scrapbooking. Our first week's lesson was about our life verse. I immediately thought about Philippians 4:8. But that is more like a "go to" verse for me, not exactly a life verse. I read Courtney's life verse and immediately resonated with it. I was familiar with the various aspects of the verse, but never realized all three components in one verse. Look to the LORD and his strength. Seek his face always. Remember the wonders He has done. Psalm 105:4-5 Of course, I couldn't copy Courtney. Afterall, it was her life verse. So I grabbed my Bible and started studying. I looked up supporting scripture. Yes, I recognized many-like Psalm 78:4. But I couldn't find one that really captured all three areas. This particular verse was, well-perfect for me! Look to the Lord and his strength. I'm always trying to do everything myself, in my own power, in my way. Seek his face always. When I'm struggling, I always try to fix it. Find some sort of solution. Do better. Do something. Remember the wonders He has done. I admit, I'm forgetful. He blesses/restores/provides/heals/comforts...and the next day when faced with calamity, I already forgot. Remembering God, what he has already done, who he is, who I am in him...makes all the difference in my daily life. That is why Faithfully Yours is so important to me. I want to encourage others to remember God and therefore live their lives with a peace that transcends all understanding.
