Ministry
Remember God
Only be careful, and watch yourselves closely so that
you do not forget the things your eyes have
seen or let them slip from your heart as long as you live.
Teach them to your children and to their
children after them. Remember the day you
stood before the LORD your God at Horeb, when he said to me,
"Assemble the people before me to hear my words so that they
may learn to revere me as long as they live in
the land and may teach them to their
children. Dt. 4:9-10
The book of Deuteronomy is a reminder for us through the
Israelites to remember who God is and what he has done. When
they disobeyed God, they were punished. When they obeyed God,
they prospered. It is important for us to remember God,
remember his faithfulness, provision, blessings and love for
us. Some events we may not want to remember, however that
memory serves as a learning tool not to repeat or even as a
reminder how God was there strengthening us all along. The
Bible in itself is all we need to learn about God and how to
live our lives. But by scrapbooking our faith, God's provision
and faithfulness we have a visual tool and record to pass down
to our children. Although we are to live by the same commands,
we have a new covenant through Jesus Christ. We can have a
personal relationship with Him. Our scrapbooks are personal
too. Share, record and remember who God is and what he has done
for you.
Scrapbook Ministry
Have you considered scrapbooking as a ministry? A ministry
is defined as serving others. You can serve others by teaching
and encouraging them to remember God and his faithfulness.
Leading a faithbooking class will enable you to teach,
encourage and serve others.
